We’ve some Hard Work to Do!!
… all the sweat running down our blazing foreheads like rain pounding heavily down a glass window, and tire to wail on fretfully, will be worth it. All that working out, running around, doing Sport and training for it will not go to waste. Yes, we’ve some awfully hard strenuous work to get done before it can all begin, for us all to be 100% ready to swirl down that race track confidently.
Not one straightforward second of push-ups will go to waste… this wonderful event may leave us gasping for air to the harshest point, may squueze the oxygen out of our bodies, may bring out the best and worst of us; but we will be ready for it, maybe even waiting patiently like a bird waiting until the first of the sun’s blinding ray lights peep out of the sandy surface to tweet their soothing melody. Everyone is aware of the fact that China will be hosting the Olympics this year, but a surprise has knocked us off our feet! Right on our doorstep, the Mini Olympics have knocked right on my school’s doorstep, not for real, though. We are having our own Mini Olympics at school!!!!!!! How amazing it that? We will be having a few host classes, each hosting their own sports, example: Soccer, fake Hockey, Rythmic Gymnastics, lots more! Each class has to choose the country they want to represent for the Olympics, my class, the Allstars, chose Jamaica. I really wish I could have chosen Argentina but it is alright. Other countries chosen were Italy, Malta, Argentina, Lebanon, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, China, USA! In Area 7, our grass huge field, will be the place to hold this event. Each class shall cheer for their classmates… or they will have to run 4 laps of Area 7…..
It will be brilliant, the best of fun!! There will even be medals and awards… cool! I am utterly excited and cannot wait until it comes. The date is the 22nd of August, 2008. My legs are knocking with excitement and my heart is thumping up and down like a rabbit on the run!!! When it does come, I will inform you more about it… as for your job, read and relax and be patient for my next posts….
How about you? Have you ever had the Olympics at your school? Would you like to? Why?

Hey,
No i have never had the Olympics at my school, well maybe in kinder we had acticities like egg and spoon race and other stuff.
The Olympics are a good time and have a mini Olympics at school they would be good because we would get out of some of class, it would be heaps of fun and we could learnnew sports we have never played before.

Posted August 3, 2008, 6:56 pmHi Nadine,
Posted August 4, 2008, 2:04 amI added you as another user, why couldn’t you enter? If we make a blog like mine but communitary I could ask my teacher to make it communitary, because she made mine like that. I think it’s better. But I’ll give you the username anyway! It’s stephie2008. I couldn’t add Pina and Smart! I really tried to, but I couldn’t!
About your post…great one! I haven’t had the Olympic Games inn my school! I’d like to…
Kisses and Hugs,
Stephie

Hi Nadine,
Posted August 5, 2008, 3:17 amI am pretty sure that 30 day comment challenge is over. I think it ran for the month of June(?).
Hi Nadine, I changed the blog layout! It looks great…please, visit it if you can. If you want to, you can write something! I’ve already given you the username and the password, and when you write something, you can choose who posts it: you or me.
Posted August 7, 2008, 12:33 amHope you’re ok.

Hi Lisa
Posted August 7, 2008, 3:29 pmWow! I used to do egg and spoon race at my old school, not the one I learned blogging in. But I didn’t win at all…. used to drop that poor egg all the time!!! Thanks for commenting with such great reasons, I fully agree with all of them, especially learning new sports.
It’s alright not having the Olympics at your school, but I really hope you do have it some day…
Hugs, Nadine
Hey Stephie
Posted August 7, 2008, 3:33 pmThanks for giving me the username, it’s alright you couldn’t add Pina and Smart, you might have to contact them and tell them! I guess we could make a communitary blog for the communitary fans and a blog like mine for those who find it difficult to comment on communitary blogs.
Sure hope you do get a chance at having Olympics at your school and hope you become a splendid athlete….
Great job on the layout… awesome! Soon I will post something, I’m just a bit busy so far, but when I have time I promise you I’ll do my best! Stay in touch
Love, Nadine
