Observatory turns out to be something we’ve waited for…
On Wednesday, our class and Miss Jenkin’s class went to the Sydney Observatory.
We dropped off from the bus and walked for about half and hour. We saw Captain Cook and the sea. Beautiful!
Later, we walked up onto a park hill and sat and watched. Everything was amazing! The view was really pretty and was something we had been waiting for! Then, we sat up the top and started playing and eating, when a man came and split us into groups and I went with him!
We started off with the roof. The man showed us how it turned and we were terrified! Then, he let us look into the microscope and see the upside down people and clock! Wow!
He then took us to the theatre where we watched a movie about aliens and the Blackholes and more. It was cooooooool! I hadn’t watched 3-D for ages!
After, we went to a small room with an umbrellawhich, when turned off the light, we could see the stars and galaxy!He showed us where every thing was and then we left and waited for the bus to come.
In the bus, we played some braintwister questions until we were back at school!
It was something… something we’d wanted to do for ages this year!
