                                  My Fantasy Creature

Faster and faster I went, skipping through the roads, not knowing where I was going. I went on and on. My body was controlling me, I couldn’t stop! The fog in front of me followed me throughout my journey. I couldn’t see a speck! Maybe I was ‘abra kadabred’ into never stopping; But to keep skipping till my last breath, under the wavy sea. Finally, my body froze as if I was frozen in an iceberg. I gazed in terror as the fog started to fade. I raised my chin up, staring at the blackness of the sky. I found myself in front of a building or castle; either way I couldn’t see properly. Suddenly, I saw a boat, a boat moving. It was empty, and for a second there I thought I was imagining. I blinked my eyes and out of nowhere jumped out a lady. She wasn’t a normal lady. She had tentacled hair, crab-like hands and kind of upside down seaweed legs style. She wasn’t staring at me. Phew!!! But, I thought it would be safer to snuggle under a rock and spy. It seemed the creature was speaking in a weird language. She, I think, was probably mumbling a spell. One second she was roaring; the other, she was whispering like a ghost. I felt a huge itch forming on my leg. I was about to reach out for my leg, but unfortunately, I bumped into the rock and ‘bam’ it went. The underwater creature focused her gaze at me. Then I saw it. A tiny mermaid was her pet. She seemed to be evil well, being held by the creature’s left hand. She had the words ‘the sea’ written on it. In her other hand was a huge stick, round at the top, being held by her right hand. Inside it was a ball covered with the world. Then I said it to myself ‘Goddess of the Sea.’ OOOOps! She was staring at me again with her green teeth-like eyes. On her face was a black scar which seemed to sink in her skin. It was I the letter E. And as soon as I saw the letters I knew it stood for evil. Her clothes seemed to have a live fish on it. She also had a snake necklace. The snakes were twirling and hissing around her neck. On her ears, held 2 black, live fishes, struggling for water but would soon die. She also had black moulds on her face which looked as if she was growing grass on her cheeks. Her octopus hair spraying out ready to suck anyone. Her legs stepped onto each other but she couldn’t feel it. She had butterfly wings. She was very unusual! And then, I had accidentally said unusual too loudly. Too late! She saw me! The ghostly figure froze, and then pounced at me.  Her fingers in the air. Her sharp nails as sharp as a knife sunk into my skin. I felt sicker and paler by the minute. Dizzy, dizzy. I stared up at her thinking that this could be the last minute to see the world. Her fiery eyes burned into mine, they were tensed, squeezed together, but then, just relaxed. She let go of my neck and I saw her nails. They were red, as red as a tomato. It was from my blood I realised. Then her hands into her head and she started crying. Her tears, big, gigantic. They splashed on the floor, like rain pouring wildly. Suddenly, she spoke to me. She said that she wasn’t a bad a witch that cast a spell upon her. The spell was, to be said by night or she would be dead. The words were;Every glimpse of human-i-t-yMust not run away and fleeYou will not surviveUnless you diveA drip of kindness on the wayWill make you feel sorry for what you did sayShe explained her whole story to me and I felt safer for a second there. She looked at me with those tiny eyes and her body disappeared, second by second, like sand. I watched as her body fell, and then lifted my knees and walked home. Like the spell said: A drip of kindness on the way, will make you feel sorry for what you did say.
